Independence Day Charity Event Presented by the Paul and Lisa DeAngelo Family Foundation is set for July 4
Live music includes Separate Ways The Band (Ultimate Journey Tribute Show) and the Jeff Beck Tribute Band
(Hazleton, PA) The 3rd Annual Independence Day Charity Event Presented by “Paul and Lisa DeAngelo Family Foundation” will take place on Tuesday, July 4 at City View Park (700 Poplar Street).
The fundraising community event will include top-notch live music throughout the day, a 5K Run/Walk and 10K Run, family walk, one-mile youth race and fun activities for the entire family! Live music performances by Separate Ways The Band is the Ultimate Journey Tribute Show on the east coast recreating the mid-80’s line up and the Jeff Beck Tribute Band will entertain attendees. Guests will enjoy the DeAngelo Family exotic car and truck display, professional athlete autographs, food trucks, beverages, tricky tray raffle, silent auction items, performances by the Faberge Follies “Faberge Girls” and activities for children. There will also be a Cornhole Tournament.
All 10K/ 5K, Family walk, youth race and one-mile 16 and under race, participants will receive a goody bag, race t-shirt and finisher medal. Prizes will be given to overall 5K/10K first place winners and medals will be awarded to the male and female 10K and 5K runners in 20-year age groups.
100% of the proceeds will be donated to support the local Autism Community, Youth Sports, Cancer Research and Disabled Veterans. “We look forward to making our 3rd annual event an even bigger success. Being involved in causes that help children, cancer research and military veterans is a priority to the entire DeAngelo Family. We are excited to have the community join us on the Independence Day Holiday for a fun event at the park to support and raise funds for so many important causes in our community,” said Paul and Lisa DeAngelo.

7:30 AM – Check In and Same Day Registration
8:30 AM – 5K Run/Walk and 10K Run
9:45 AM - 5K Awards Ceremony
10 AM - One Mile Race (Youth 16 and under)
10:30 AM – 10 K Awards Ceremony
11 AM - 1-Mile Family Walk
Noon to 2:30 pm – Cornhole Tournament
9:30AM – 5 PM – DeAngelo Family Exotic Car and Truck Display Professional Athlete Autographs and Photographs, Silent Auction including Autographed Sports Memorabilia, Food Trucks, Beverages, Tricky Tray Raffle, Performances by the Faberge Follies “Faberge Girls” and Kidz FUNZone with activities for children and Cornhole Tournament.
